Baldness and hair thinning are common conditions that can significantly affect confidence and, in some cases, affect overall quality of life. Today, hair thinning and hair loss are increasingly seen at younger ages due to modern lifestyle factors that contribute to hair shedding. As a result, new treatment approaches continue to be developed.

A New Hope for People Experiencing Baldness

We often hear that maintaining good overall health helps strengthen the immune system. But how can we tell whether our immune system is functioning well? Let's explore some signs that may indicate your immune system needs attention.

Getting to Know NK Cells: Protecting Against Internal and External Invaders

Natural Killer Cells, or NK cells, often referred to as “natural assassins,” are a type of white blood cell known as cytotoxic lymphocytes. They circulate in the bloodstream as part of the body’s innate immune system and act as frontline soldiers, protecting the body by identifying and eliminating foreign invaders.

Stem Cells: The Frontline Defenders Against Cancer and Viruses: NK Cells and Stem Cells

The human body contains approximately 2–5 billion NK (Natural Killer) cells. NK cells account for about 5% of lymphocytes, a type of white blood cell found in the bloodstream. Their numbers and functional activity can decline as overall physical resilience decreases—most commonly with advancing age. Studies show that NK cell activity peaks around age 20 and gradually declines thereafter.

Osaki Method Technique for Generating Higher-Than-Normal Levels of Highly Active NK Cells (Natural Immunity)

At MEDEZE, we utilize NK cell expansion technology based on the Osaki Method, developed by Japanese physician-scientist Junichi Masuyama, M.D., Ph.D. This method involves culturing NK cells in a proprietary medium within a patented closed-system process designed to enhance both cell quantity and functional readiness.

Osaki Method Enables High-Yield Expansion of Activated NK Cells Ready for Reinfusion

At MEDEZE, the Osaki Method from Japan is used to expand NK cells to enhance their ability to eliminate cancer cells and virus-infected cells in the body. This approach is developed through collaboration between Dr. Junichi Matsuyama and Dr. Veerapol Khemarangsan, Founder of MEDEZE Group.

The Causes of Cancer Vary by Type, with Key Factors That Induce Cellular Transformation

NK cells are a key indicator of immune system status. A blood sample is sent to a laboratory to evaluate how effectively NK cells respond to foreign pathogens. This test requires approximately 72 hours to complete.

What You Should Know About NK Cells (Natural Immunity) When Viral Infections Are Not Fully Cleared

Stem cells exist in various types, and one of the most important future applications is organ regeneration. In the future, organ transplantation may increasingly rely on a patient’s own cells rather than donor organs, as receiving organs from others requires lifelong immunosuppressive therapy to prevent rejection.

Live for Life: Advancing Longevity with MEDEZE and Understanding the Importance of Stem Cells

Stem cell cultivation requires only a small portion of tissue for collection. The quality of stem cells depends on several factors, including age and medical conditions. The earlier stem cells are collected, the younger the age or before the onset of disease, the higher the potential quality of the stem cells preserved for future use.

Knee osteoarthritis can be treated through several approaches. One emerging option is intra-articular injection of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) into the knee joint to stimulate cartilage regeneration and reduce inflammation through bioactive factors released by stem cells.

Knee Osteoarthritis and Stem Cell Injection Therapy

Biotechnology refers to the application of living organisms or biologically derived substances to develop products and medical innovations. One emerging area of interest is the use of Natural Killer (NK) cells, which play a crucial role in eliminating foreign pathogens and abnormal cells, including cancer cells.

Opening Perspectives and the Journey of Dr. Weerapol Khemarangsan, Provider of Stem Cell Banking Services

Stem cells are present throughout the body; however, not all can be collected for preservation. Currently, practical and accessible sources for stem cell banking include adipose (fat) tissue and perinatal tissues such as the placenta. Although stem cells have the biological potential to support longevity, their genetic material (telomeres) shortens with each cell division. Therefore, maintaining overall health and preserving high-quality stem cells early may contribute to long-term regenerative potential.
